New collaboration with Skroutz Last Mile and expansion of the ACS Smartpoint Lockers
Enhanced parcels collection flexibility for thousands of consumers
As part of its digital transformation and with a focus on continuously improving the customer experience, ACS is launching a collaboration with SLM (Skroutz Last Mile) through the Skroutz Point network, while simultaneously accelerating the expansion of the ACS Smartpoint Locker network.
The partnership with Skroutz Last Mile creates a new cooperation framework that, in many cases, unifies the automatic shipment pickup locker networks in cities across Greece and leverages their availability to better serve consumers.
At the same time, ACS continues the dynamic development of the Smartpoint Locker network, which today includes more than 1,250 locations with 57,000 locker cells throughout Greece. The smart lockers offer fast and convenient service in central locations, contributing to an optimal pickup experience for thousands of consumers every day.
These investments fall under the company’s strategy to create an integrated, hybrid last-mile network that utilizes advanced technology, while maintaining ACS’s long-standing reliability in the Greek market. In parallel, the deployment of lockers reduces travel and vehicle traffic, making deliveries greener and more efficient.
Mr. Apostolos Georgandzis, CEO of ACS, stated:
“Focusing on the customer and their modern needs, we continue to invest both in new collaborations and in technological infrastructure that collectively enhance the customer pickup experience. Our goal is to offer more options, greater flexibility, and full control over the shipping process. With this new collaboration, by combining the two networks nationwide, we will be able to reach 4,000 lockers within the next 1–2 years.”
